Synchronize (Sync)

In Field Tools, syncing is the process by which the server performs routine maintenance on the Field Tools app, such as updating ERT and meter configuration data and log information.

You can sync at any time using the menu's sync option. But, you don't have to rely on your own memory to remember to sync. Field Tools automatically syncs whenever you sign in and sign out, provided your device running the app can communicate with the server. Communication between the device and server takes place over the internet through:

• A mobile data network connection
• A wireless network connection

Note:  Your connection to the server must be a high-speed internet connection.

You can sync at any time using the Sync option on the menu.
